Lossen 3 screws 1 on the rear fender and 1 on each side of the seat. the trick now is to remove the passenger hand hold strap, on the left side the retainer has a key hole shape, slide a straight blade screwdriver underneath the retainer bolt and through the lower part of the keyhole, pry down and out, it will pop right off.

Best way to replace stock hoses on the back side of the oil bag on a 2003 heritage softail ,remove fender ,seat battery???

I think the lower part of the rear fender will come off. On the earlier models it would. It's called a "mud guard" or "splash guard". Of course, you'll have to remove the rear wheel to get to the screws.

Good Luck

Seat removal

First thing remove the screw holding the passenger seat pillion. Next remove the 2 mounting screws that hold the riders seat. Once the screws are removed you can pull the seat toward the back of the bike to remove it.

Is there a easy place to hook up battery tender on 2005 hd heritage softail other than removing the seat.

When I had my Softail, I used the battery wiring harness that came with the battery charger. It had a plug on it that could be tucked out the way, but readily available when needed.
I use the same setup on my 99 FLHT.
It looks like this....

How do I remove the seat from a 2003 softail heritage classic?

There should be a screw/bolt on top of the rear fender holding the seat back down, and there should be a bolt on each side on the frame near where the seat dips down on the sides near the oil tank. The side bolts were hex heads last I knew to help ID them.

I am replacing switch housing on 2003 HD Heritage Classic. How do you remove throttle cables from housing

I'm not really sure on your '06 but I don't think Harley has changed them. Each cable has a metal ferrel on the end of the cable housing. On this metal piece is another piece that is kind of like a split ring. Once you adjust the cable as loose as you can get it, the cable housing should pull out of the switch housing. You may have to spray some penetrating oil in there. Just kind of wiggle it while pulling it straight out. I think that's the way it works on the later models. Earlier models had threaded ferrels.

Getting seat off 2005 Heritage Classic

There is a large bolt on either side of the seat down on the side. It uses a large hex key to remove them. Take these two bolts out, lift the seat and pull to the rear. That should do it.

Cant figure out how to remove the seat

there are 2 small slotted screws one on either side of the drivers seat. you may have to lift the leather of the seat to see these two screws. when they have been loosened completely pull out on the side of the seat where the screw attachs. sometimes they fit really tight right there when they are new.

Tire pressure

All 16" front tires on HD models take 36 psi and All 16" rear tires on HD models take 36 psi(solo rider) and 40 psi(with passenger). You should check these pressures daily on your preride inspection.
