Question about 2002 BMW R 1150 R
Hi, Repaull2 for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. could be a numerous amount of problems. take it to a dealer for a diagnostic test on their gt-1 tester or buy this..http://www.hexcode.co.za/
for around 350.00
ensure that the hazard switch is not on (hazard light)
anything from loss in pressure, low fluid level to bad servo can cause ABS light to stay on. normally it will go out as soon as you start driving. the ABS modulator is under the tank on that model.

How are you bleeding the brake system?
If you are simply trying to bleed the front brakes by putting fluid in the handlebar mounted reservoir and bleeding it out of the caliper, you have emptied the ABS controller reservoir under the gas tank. This is why the ABS light flashes.
Post more information and I can try to give you some help, but you will have to remove the fuel tank etc. You need a few special tools to bleed the ABS brakes on this bike.
Awaiting your comments.....
