Question about 2002 BMW R 1150 R
Hi, Repaull2 for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. If necessary, transport your bike to the dealer or shop and have a professional technician take it for a test drive, if it is in running condition, and give you a written estimate of repairs and answer any specific questions you may have about your issue. a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Mechanic (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

for around 350.00
ensure that the hazard switch is not on (hazard light)
anything from loss in pressure, low fluid level to bad servo can cause ABS light to stay on. normally it will go out as soon as you start driving. the ABS modulator is under the tank on that model.

How are you bleeding the brake system?
If you are simply trying to bleed the front brakes by putting fluid in the handlebar mounted reservoir and bleeding it out of the caliper, you have emptied the ABS controller reservoir under the gas tank. This is why the ABS light flashes.
Post more information and I can try to give you some help, but you will have to remove the fuel tank etc. You need a few special tools to bleed the ABS brakes on this bike.
Awaiting your comments.....
