Best bet is to take the injector to an auto parts store (napa or bumper to bumper) most of them have picture books that can match up many parts.. I found a water pump for a Zamboni ice machine like this...seems it was the same as a 1984 VW Caribe...the pump for the VW was 42.00...the Zamboni pump was like 150.00 good luck

Today when I was out on my 08 Hayabusa, the clocks switched off and wouldn't come back - headlight was working but turn signals, rear light and brake light have failed. Can anyone help?

Hi, Andrew and the usual suspects are:
1. Blown light circuit fuse.
2. Faulty ignition switch.
3. Faulty wiring, corroded, loose, or broken pins/sockets in the wire harness connectors of the light circuit. For this scenario, you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Yamaha, despair not, for a mere $0 you can download another one. I have a 1999 busa all is running well. i am looking for more power can i put bigger injectors in

Hi, Lyn I am truly sorry that 175 ponies doesn't tie your sneakers, however, there are ways to guarantee your next speeding ticket the usual basics are performance cam, larger injectors, free flow air cleaner, performance exhaust, and a fuel tuner if necessary or you could trade it in for a 2008 or later Busa for this situation I would call my local dealer or reputable shop's service/parts department and inquire about any possible quick fix, answers, or parts inquiry. Hayabusa lazy starter

Instructions
    • 1 Remove the rear cowl using the ignition key. Use the 5mm Allen key to remove the two bolts securing the seat to the frame. When the bolts are out, lift up at the back and remove the seat.
    • 2 Remove the prop fuel tank prop rod from the rear storage area. Lift the back of the fuel tank and support it with the prop rod.
    • 3 Unplug the fuel injector wiring harness connector. This is a white connector that has wires coming from the fuel rail and connects to the main wiring harness.
    • 4 Locate a spot in the rear storage area to mount the Power Commander unit. Clean the spot using brake cleaner and a rag. Mount the Power Commander unit to the spot using the Velcro tape supplied with the Power Commander.
    • 5 Route Power Commander's wires along the frame rails towards the front of the bike. The wires from the Power Commander have two connectors. Plug each connector from the Power Commander to the white connector you unplugged in Step 3. The connectors will only plug into each other one way.
    • 6 Lower the fuel tank and reinstall the seat. Start the engine and follow the procedures for programming the Power Commander according to the instructions in the manual.

Nioce bike sounds like a bad injector though.
You could try to remove them one at a time.injector cleaners might ev en help first but find a really good one.
You gotta use the highest octane on that bike also.
Good luck,Gary

I have bought a brand new Suzuki Hayabusa and ever since I have taken delivery of the same I have battery charging problems 1.The battery discharges within 10-15kms of use and the bikes stalls dead 2.Upon...

regulator problem!!....battery should charge a lot higher when throttle is rapped up to around 4000rpm...should go up to 13.5 to 14 volts then go down quickly to 13v.... no less. check for loose connections on both stator and regulator connections..clean it up could be dirty connections. a battery that is less than 12.6 volts means it needs charging,....and definately a batterty that reads only 12v volts is not good.
