My pulsar 150,18000 kms done now the engine getting more heat within 10 kms and my AFR screw is 2turns anti clockwise

Hi, Anonymous you worry too much is the air temperature increasing on a daily basis in your country? Have you added accessories that block air flow to the engine, do you drive mainly in stop and go traffic conditions? Have you increased the load or weight on your scooter? How do you know it is getting more heat? your Pulsar was designed to run with an engine oil temperature of 82 to 110 degrees celsius anything lower and your engine will not burn off water vapor or condensation in the oil anything higher the oil starts to break down and lubrication properties become compromised and engine failure is imminent. If your engine oil temperature is running close to 110 degrees you may want to add an oil cooler to bring down the overall running temperature by 10 to 15 degrees. Finally, your air fuel mixture screw has nothing to do with engine heat it only controls your idle circuit, however, if you have an intake manifold leak that will raise engine operating temperature and also your idle. What is engine work temp for a honda blackbird with town driving

128 degrees c (260 degrees f) should be way to hot for that engine. It should probably be at max 210-220 degrees F. Listen for the cooling fan to run when its running hot.

Engine runs hot and stays hot 4 hours after.

HI Jerry, and the usual suspects are:
1. Insufficient oil supply or oil not circulating.
2. Leaking valves.
3. Heavy carbon deposit in combustion chamber.
4. Ignition timing retarded.
5. Normal engine oil tempurature 180-220 degrees.
6. No oil cooler.
Good luck

2004 Harley Davidson low rider engine runs hot

The manufacture recomends the oil temp runs between 200 and 240 degrees, but they state too that the oil will not start breaking down till 300 degrees. Most bikes now days have and oil filter housing adapter that circulates coolant through it, you might check your thermostat and make sure there is no debri in the radiator flues.

What is the normal engine tempeture for a 2007 suzuki gsx-r 750

Your temp gauge should read in degrees F. Water, I hope, water cooled, the bike should run at 180, 190, depending on how hot it is out. If you are in traffic, and red lights, it will be much higher, your fans should kick on at 212 or so, and stay on till you get back in the wind. My bike runs exactly 100 degrees hotter than the outside air temp. i have checked it a hundred times, when I pass a thermometer outside a bank or something. It is weird, but I always know how hot out it is. Hope this helps.

What temperater should fan turn on and i know the problem isnt the fan what should i check next

the temperature of speed motorcycle is over 100 degrees Celsius. Between 100 and maximum 110. In cooling system you must have antifreeze all the time, because this boil higher than 110 degrees.
If the fan start higher than 100 degrees, is ok. But i guess until 110 degrees. Search by internet the manual for full specifications.

Cheers.
