Chemical metal / epoxy weld
you get all sorts of different types in tubes for different applications.
make sure the one you choose is suitable for all metals and is heat resistant, most are non porous.

1996 honda magna vf750c won-t turn over

Hi, Bmore_scorpi before testing any electrical component in the Starter Circuit it is "IMPERATIVE" that you have a fully charged battery of 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test because your battery may have 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amps causing the battery to be faulty and must be replaced, especially "AGM" batteries.
1. Ignition Switch not in the "ON" position.
2. Engine Run Switch in the "OFF" position.
3. Check the battery terminals for damage or corrosion check the battery cables at "BOTH" ends for loose, corroded, or broken connectors, "INSIDE" and outside the cable harness, perform connector wiggle test and check cables with an ohmmeter.
4. Bank angle sensor needs a reset or is faulty.
5. FOB battery low or dead.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Faulty starter button.
8. Faulty kickstand or clutch pull in switch/sensor.
9. Security alarm needs a reset.
10. Starter relay, solenoid or starter circuit wiring faulty.
11. Starter armature or field coils have failed.
12. Main fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or faulty.
13. The electric starter is working but starter clutch has failed.
14. Check for engine trouble codes.

Best way to fix a cracked oil sump on moterbike

The only way would be to remove it, thoroughly clean with gasoline and take it to a specialist in aluminium welding. If the kickstand is mounted on the sump, I would get another new sump.

There was water in my oil when the oil was changed...?

have a compression test done to check for head gasket or cracks . have a pressure test done on the coolant system to test for coolant leaks in the aluminium parts that lead to the sump. If you have an automatic check the oil cooler in the radiator.

What is the recommended oil for forks on the 1996 honda magna

depending on your weight and the type of riding you do its kind of a loaded question, normal fork oil will range from 5 to 20wt so depending on what your tipping the scales at lets just say the bigger the rider, the thicker the oil, now next question is what type of rider are you? mountain pass riding or just straight down the highway? have you had any problems with bottoming out at all? if so go with the heavy wt but also consider either shimming the stock springs or just replacing with an aftermarket spring kit. if your into just floating down the interstate then my friend keep it on the lite side.

96 Honda magna headlight bulb needs replacement

There are 4 bolts on the base of the headlight. Take those out and the entire assembly comes off the bike. Then there are two screws on the bottom of the assembly. Remove those and the lamp pulls away from the casing. Be careful not to drop it. When you get the lamp off the casing there will be a rubber "cup" that you have to pull off of the base of the bulb after you pull the plug off. Then take the clip off and you just pull the bulb out of the lamp. Be careful not to touch the new bulb with your fingers. Use a cloth or something to protect the new bulb from the oil on your skin and dirt.
