Your fuel mixture may just need adjusting or your carbs may need some cleaning the adjustment is a bit painful as it requires a special tool for the carbs if you take it in for a oil change ask em about adjusting the carbs for you - a good shop will have it done in a jiffy

yes you can but may cause problem with cold starts.. is the black plastic choke thermostat adjustable? if so loosen the 3 flat head screws, do not remove them,, rotate choke thermostat counter clock wise until you see the choke butter fly start to break open.. stop and turn back clockwise about 1/4 of a turn.. that should give you just enough choke to start cold engine

2006 Honda 750cc Shadow Aero starts with choke, runs for a minute, sputters and stalls. Won't start again for a couple of days, then starts right up. Electrical?

Hi there
I once had a wee car, whenever it got too much petrol inside itself it refused to go anywhere and had to rest for some time and you had to be very careful with the choke and the petrol so it did not swallow too much of it and need another rest.

I just bought a 1999 Honda Aero and it did not come with an owner manual. Where is the choke on this bike. Is there any free down loads with "getting started" on the Honda Aero/shadow of this...

The choke is on your left hand handle bar, it is the black slide down lever. 1. Push the lever inward to choke the bike 2. give the throttle two turns and start the bike. ( do this so you don't drain your battery, even with a new battery you need give the bike the gas to start or you will have to recharge the battery) You will hear the engine change pitch when it warms up, push the choke upwards and the bike should idle on its own.

For the coolant where in the reservoir it says upper and lower , does this mean that when it's cold its at the lower and hot in the upper and also for the shocks does the number for the tension go from...

I always fill my coolant reservoir to the upper when it is cold. As long as it is between the marks your in good shape. I can' t answer your question on the shocks. I can tell you the higher the spring tension the harder it is to turn. Looking from the top rotating clockwise increases tension and counter clockwise decreases tension. Be sure to adjust the air pressure in the front forks to match the shock tension. Do this by bouncing on the seat and letting air out of the forks until the front and back of the bike drop together.

Big headlight in my 2006 saab 93 convertible is out. how do i get to it?

open the hood, reach in behind headlight. there will be a black or gray plastic ring. Unscrew the ring counter-clockwise and pull it back out of the way. Then take the bulb and socket, turn it counter-clockwise just a little bit and it will pull out and you can change the bulb.

I think you are exactly right. Sounds like you have some clogging in your idle jets and probably in need of a carb tune up. if you havnt replaced or cleaned your air filter in a while, now would be a good time to do that as well, being that some filters begin to break down and pieces of them get into the carb ports and cause clogging.
