Legend tt cuts out when put in gear

My bike cut out after a short time when the choke was released when warm. I changed the crank position sensor and did all relevant checks. took it to a Triumph dealer who took three weeks to repair the bike. They said that it turned out to be a perished carb' diaphragm which let the needle drop when as vacuum decreased when the revs dropped as the choke was returned.

This does happen on many other bikes; the shifter pawls do not mesh smoothly at low RPMs. Simply let your clutch out partially to "bump" the pawls and gears into better alignment, then engage it again, and it should be much easier to downshift when at a stop.
