SOURCE: suzuki gn125 wont start. checked carb, cdi, coil.

Check the valve adjustment. If a valve is standing open just a little, the compression will be too low to start the engine. Check fuel delivery by dribbling a little gasoline into the carb and try starting the bike. If it starts and runs for a second or two, you're not getting fuel into the cylinders. Check you carb again.

SOURCE: honda cbr 600 wont start

hi, each lead has the specific number on it. if you do this correctly then they genrally give you an idea to where the sit in the coils( the way they bend :-) ) also i believe the coils are better off been attached to the frame once you are sure leads are in corect order and possitioned correctly in the coils.i just presumed the coils neaded earthing. make sure battery is pleny charged as a bad battery can just hinder. it is also very easy to flood the bike so just check the plugs again. if they are unusually wet then dry them off and try again . otherwise maybe try cleaning all electics.

hope this somehow helped

SOURCE: my keeway wont start

Check the fuses. Is the kill switch on or shorting out? Disconnect it and then check for spark. Sidestand/centerstand should be up, Got a good battery?

I am unfamiliar with your Keeway and just trying to help. Don't give me a bad rating if I miss the mark on this one. Thanks.

How Manual adjustment for Raider 150 carb tensioner.

Thinking you meant Raider and not 'rider', and this is a Suzuki motorcycle and should not be in Cars and Trucks category. Edited and moved.

The mower has spark and good gas flow to the carb but will not start it cranks over good and has a new battery

Sounds to me like you have water in your carburator bowl , or your needle valve is stuck in it's seat. Shut off your fuel tank to carburator, remove the carburator bowl with container underneath, careful of the gasket, and see what comes out. If needle is stuck up into carburator gently pull down.
Also check the container for water. This could be one, or both of your problems. Clean parts , replace , and it might be a good idea to drain your fuel tank you may have some water in there. Start with fresh gas. GOOD LUCK.

1989 150 econoline starts good but has to warm up or will stall runs good after warmed up

Sounds like my old 77 F250. If the Van has a carburator then your carb's choke is not working properly. Suggest installing hand choke to your carburator. Then you can control your carbs choke by hand.

My 1987 Dodge Raider has been in storage for 4 years. My problem is it will turn over but will not start. However if I pour a little gas down the carburator it cranks right up.Were do I start trouble...

If you know where the fuel line comes into the carburator, disconnect it and try to crank to see if there is fuel coming out, could be the fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator or even the fuel pump itself, check the filter first. Good Luck.

Hi,i`ve got a yamaha fz750 1988..and it won`t seem to run on all four cylinders..i took the air box off and while it was running put my hand over each carb one at once and found that on carb 4 it stopped...

Hi JIm,
If it stopped @ 4 tht means thts the only cylinder firing .
Remove the spark plugs, earth @ on the cylinder head, crank start and check for sparks...if its sparking tht means the coils etc. are ok.
As the spark plugs are out exam them to their conditions visit this site for more details :-
http://www.spark-plugs.co.uk/pages/technical/diagnosis.htm

From here you would know if its carburator or probably it may need a complete tune up....carburator cleaning, float level..adjustment, valve clearance.. new plugs (gap to specs.), check air filter, replace or fit 'inline' fuel filter thn balancing of the carbs.
Hope this helps!

I have a Baja 90 atv that wont start, have good spark & fuel but doesn't want to start

take the jumper off of the cdi box located under the fuel tank. unplug the cdi unit and loosen the 2 screws with a phillips screwdriver to remove the jumper. then take off the rubber stoppers on the other end of the cdi unit and turn them clockwise to speed up the low and high setting.
