Battery keeps going dead on my 2004 650 kawasaki brut force?

Sounds like your battery is about dead... replace the battery and clean the connectors/wires/terminals.. and a little waterproof grease will stop the corrosion. Make sure the new connections are tight!

Sounds to me like you got some bad gas with water in it. Changing the filter probably let the water out and the water settled, then you ran it and the water got stirred up again. Drain the gas and replace it or at least put some gas line antifreeze or alcohol in the gas tank to absorb the water.

I am going to assume your are removing the tranny in order to change the clutch? Again, assuming you have everything disconnected, somtimes they just get stuck on the input shaft going through the clutch disc. If you have to resort to brut force, be carfull prying on the aluminum and apply force on both sides at the same time.

check to see if the battery has enuf COLD CRANKING AMPS.
if so you have a dead ceal in the battery

Your starter button may need to be replaced or taken apart and clean up the contacts

i can only speek for myself but as i work in a pc shop i normaly force them back into the right track brut force as there only 10 pounds to replace the part i have broken 20 % of the ones i have done not bad if you ask me
