Ma bullet machismo 500 2008 model(done 8500 km) is not smooth to ride.it starts shivering like anything when it reaches 80kmph.what to do?and also there is some noise from the engine. the royal enfield bramdstore people told me that machismo500 will have that noise.the noise is somewhat similar to the noise which comes from std350 when the tappet is not adjusted properly.is it actually a problem?

Id start at replace spark plugs.. too this bike may have sensors that tell an ECM info one of these may be out of spec after a set time or temp .. id get a manual & check the locations of them. In manual the often have a trouble shooting guide..
Check the wires coming out of the armature , that would be the problem. 99% of time it is the problem with those wires. What happens is, in old models there are three wires coming out of the armature, u must check if those wires are not short from inside (Armature Coil). Check with the Multimeter and if thats the prob than u'll have to cahnge the armature...
