No power to dome lights pwr door locks when key is out of ignitio

I have recently for the third time now replaced my heater core, every time you have to take out the WHOLE dashboard in order to replace the heater core. Everytime everthing works except this last time. When i put everything backtogether for some reason my power door locks dome lights and the chime that says the door is open does not work. My radio as well doesnt work. i have made sure all the connections are together and fuses are working. i dont understand how this could be.. the lights and door locks work when the key is in and ignition on but do not work when the key is taken out which they used to before this last time i took the dash out. I'm POSITIVE every wire is connected!

Beings as everything that stopped working is on the passenger side, I'd think some wiring got disconnected or broken.

2000 vw beetle the pwr windows, pwr trunk, pwr fuel door, pwr mirors, dome lights, and radio won't work. I have checked all the fuses and only one was blown, it is # 14 it says interior lights and central...

The easy part of this problem is knowing what it is, the difficult part is finding where it's shorting out. With the meters of wire and harness it would be discouraging thinking about it. Knowing VW took a lot of time engineering to avoid this simple problems, there are conditions that couldn't prevent this.

First off, have you recently installed an aftermarket part that hooks up to the wiring system e.g. radio, gauges, gps or other electronic accessory? Something added that needed a harness moved to make it fit or needed splicing a wire to power it up?

There are times when doing electrical work, the person doing it doesn't realize while stripping insulation from new wire that a strand of wire fell in a switch, fuse terminal causing a short in it's circuit.
You'd need to clean the fuse area with a clean paint brush to dust off any metal debris. Another way is by simply using a digital VOM with continuity tone to single out which component is causing it to blow the fuse.

Another suggestion is use a VAG 1552 scan tool or equivalent. This will also help pinpoint which component to look at and narrow the search area.

If you're a DIY kind of person and want to know how your vehicle works, wanting to get a little more involved. You'll need a Windows based laptop and purchase a ROSS-Tech software by clicking on the address.

99 sienna pwr door locks not locking

Well, I went to the dealer and was told that Integration relay does run both the remote locking, physical pressing the actual lock/unlock button on the armrest and dome light and door chime. I had NONE of these functioning, despite checking/replacing fuses, trying to reprogram the key, etc.
I do not have the picture of the relay with me right now.
Please explain the problem in little bit more detail and what did you already do try to fix it and I will see what I can do.
