2004 Suzuki Marauder VZ800 wont start

It turns over just fine and all the lights and whistles work but has no spark. Once it started and I rode it around my yard then shut it off and that's the only time it has ran.

Have you turned your kill switch off on the handlebars or your side stand switch could be faulty

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Can a bad voltage regulator cause the main 30 amp fuse to blow?

Usually a bad regulator will only cause problems with charging...
Sounds like you've got a short somewhere in the wiring...I'd start by checking the ignition switch wiring and the connections going into the fuse box.

Did you check spark before or after the spark plugs? Replace the plugs (or at least check their gaps). Also remember, you need three things for ignition: air, fuel, spark. You've been checking fuel and spark, but not mention of decent air flow. Is your air filter plugged?

I think maybe the G-board needs to be replaced. A TV shop will have to repair it. They normally start around $200.00
