I`m thinking it might not be releasing the emergency brake all the way check the rear brakes to see if the cable is slightly loose if not then it`s still grabbing the brakes and thats the problem it should have a slight looseness to it when there not in use they may have rusted and stuck part way on try a little wd40 lube spray just on the cables.

try looking in the door and see if the bar to central door lock mechanism hasnt come off where the little plastic clip has broke that retains it

Try pressing the D3 button on your gear shift - little button below the main one. D3 allows for quick acceleration, but the light also shows when the car is locked is gear ('limp home mode') due to another problem.
