Greese fitting in the rear of a warrior atv

Just bought mud lites for the yamaha warrior atv and found play in the rear axle bearings. hear best to put a greese fitting to keep it lubed. is this possible? hear a tube is in the way! where is the best place to put it? also heard it is best to put swing arm bearing at the same time. also wanted to turn the stock wheels around to widen the rear end. just add 1'' wider and a much more aggressive tread please help

Replace carrier bearings they are sealed bearings no need for a grease zirk would not keep bearings lubed.check swingarm bearing play. if worn, best to replace while repairing carrier,to save on labor repitition.turn wheels around & check for interference w/ brake caliper.wheel spacers are commercially available for this model. check ebay.

I added grease to the rear disc brakes of my 1997 Yamaha Warrior

Depending on how much you put in you may need a new caliper. You can disassemble the entire caliper and put it in a parts washer to clean it, but its a pretty tedious process to do

I have a 2002 yamaha yfm 350 warrior, how do i find the chain size on its chain? On the sprocket it simply says 40, what does this number mean?

the 40 simply states that it is a 40 tooth sprocket. The stock chain size for that atv is a 98 link 520 chain.

Yamaha warrior chain.

HELLO; Heres all you should have to do this, set your quad up on a atv jack or on a milk cartoon.Loosen the four bolts that hold the rear bearing carrior and back off your adjusters then push the carrier forward till it stops, relay your chain and adjust it leaveing a little slack, tighten your mounting bolts then, something I do, spin the rear tires to see if the slack is right if not loosen the bolts and proceed again with the proceedure turning out the adjusters a little more look at the chain as you dothis and you will see the slack in the chain on the top. GOOD LUCK.
