01 Softail Deuce left turn signal comes on, will not go off @

Yesterday morning went to go for a ride. When I turned the key on, my left side turn signal began flashing, will not go off by use of the left turn signal button. I can press the right turn signal to turn off left side signal. When I press the right side turn signal a second time, all turn signals come on. Press right turn signal third time all signals go off, left side no longer comes on. Need some help.

All flashers work except right front. Lights up but don't flash. Bulb or something else?

I'm new to this site but actually has fielded a question about a Triumph motorcycle I'm worrking on!

I have an '03 Anniversary Deuce and I ran into (not the exact) but similar problem. My bike has the bars internally wired from the grips all the way through the top triple tree. Somehow over time the turn signal wire got shorted "internally". You might want to just unbolt the turn signal switch from the bars to see if the wire got pinched up high. If not...move the wires around to see if that helps. If it does...ultimately you should re-wire the connections. Just my experience...good luck!

My 2003 custom HD FXSTI Deuce has no signal lights, I need to install them, where do I start?

First, you need to check to see if someone has removed the turn signal cancelling unit. It's usually under the seat or in between the tanks. If it's still there, you may can buy the complete sub-harness that runs from that unit to the turn signals. One thing you going to need without a doubt is a wiring diagram. I'd just purchase a service manual for the bike.

After riding my turns signals ,head n tail lights

Sounds like the battery is shorted. Heat is one of the worst enemies of any battery. On a Softail it's almost in an oven. The day was hot so the engine oil was hot as well. Since the battery sits inside the "horseshoe" oil tank, it is surrounded by hot oil trying to get rid of the heat.

Take your battery to the nearest auto parts house and have it tested. Usually this is a free service.

Im not seeing the oil plug on my 2003 softail deuce

Under the engine on the left side. Trans is on the right. Make sure you replace the "O" ring.

Electrical Alarm

TSSM or Turn Signal Security Module is more than likely the cause. Look to see if key and or eng light in instrument cluster comes back on after initial 4 second pwr up goes out. The key light coming back on for ruffley 8 seconds and then off shows historical trouble code has been logged in ECU. must take to shop to clear codes.
