What batteries do zxr 250 ninja use? i beleive it may be a 1990 or a 1991 model?

Maintenance, maintenance, maintenance. Your ZXR 250 needs a little, maintenance, rest and tlc. Find come particulars here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kawasaki_Ninja_ZX-2R You must stop riding your near 254 year old machine long enough to change the battery. Take out the old battery, take it to the store, get a replacement (the number will be on the battery) and reinstall it. While I appreciate your coming here to get the answer to your question, had you spent that time working on your battery instead of here, it would be fixed and you would be riding.

What oil should i be using in a 1989 kawasaki ZXR 250?

Best you can find. Rock Oil if you can. Stay away from the old Magnatek etc etc as I found them to be no better than the 15 quid cheaper Rock Oil. (Slick50 my ninja too! Old thing. )

When changing the oil where should the oil leves be in the glass indicator and does the bike need to be up right ir on the kick stand

The oil level should be in the upper 1/3 of the window when you are done. the bike needs to be straight upright. after you have added the new oil, run the engine for 1 minute and then shut it off. Let the oil settle ( about 2 minutes ) and then check the level. Add until the level is in the upper 1/3 of the window.

1992 ZXR 250 Ninja locked ignition & brakelight stuck on

Try jiggling the handle bars as you turn the key to relieve the pressure off the ignition lock. The kawasaki's have one position past the off "Lock" position that is called the "Acc" this will leave your brake light on. So the key switch goes "Acc", "Lock", "On". Make sure your key is in the Lock position and not the Accesory position

Problem getting bike into gear while riding

If the problem only happens when the bike is cold, the oil could be the problem. If the clutch lever has excessive endplay, the clutch needs to be adjusted.

How to change my oil on a kawasaki ninja 750

Get the bike so it is setting upright.
There a plug on the under side of the motor. Remove the plug and have a catch pan to catch the old oil. The filter will need to be changed also. Do this before you put new oil in. Put the plug back in and open the fill plug on the side of the engine and fill with new motorcycle oil. DO NOT USE OIL FOR CARS!! Watch that you do not over fill it.

2008 ninja 250 engine oil looks green color

Just replace the oil, its cheap enough to do and costs less than rebuilding the engine.
the white foam on the oil cap is normal its just fine water particals built up, change the oil and take the bike on a run.
so does the bike run fine with the jet kit and exhaust change ? you dont explain your self well.

Bike wont start

If you can't find another similar connection on the new motor, you might need to swap heads (if it's the same exact motor).
