Have you put a little bit of fuel into the carby it's self?

if it is EFI then you need to open the throttle all the way and keep cranking until the fuel reaches the engine.

or it may be a case of needing to bleed the fuel filter.

hope this helps

Step one, is petcock open? And what exactly do you mean by "dropped in revs?" Did it happen suddenly? Or was it the normal drop after the engine warms up?

Hi, I recently ran out of petrol on a run, I managed to get a little which got me close to home and I ran out again and had to push it. Now I've put more in and she refuses to start. The ES works

running the tank so low drags all of the rubbish in the bottom of the tank into the fuel system...doing it twice pretty much guarantees a blockage...

Have you INSTALLED A FUEL LOCK..?
IF YES CHECK WHETHER IT IS FUNCTIONING NORMALLY
(..WHEN TURNED ON/RESERVE..)
SECONDLY CHECK THE FLOW OF FUEL IS GOOD FROM FUEL KNOB/LOCK UPTO THE ENGINE..
PROBABLY,
THIS SHOULD HELP..

Hi got a suzuki gs750 not ran for a number of years, getting a spark at all spark plugs, have checked timing all ok but wont start not even trying,it seems to be fuel starvation but cant think whats wrong...

when you say a number of years is it the same petrol in the fuel tank?

personnely i would look at the filter in the fuel tank is it clean when you turn on the petrol does it run freely? disconnect the fuel pipe and empty the tank into a fuel can

i know you said that you have cleaned the carb but did you check the floats? a messy job which will cover your hands in petrol but must be done im afraid

give me shout if when you have done this and maybe i can help some more

Quad bike wont start-wont even fire

Hello if you ran out of gas i am not familiar with this motorcycle but honda and most street bikes the fuel petcock / fuel valve are vacuum actuated so when you run out of fuel you need to turn the fuel valve to primary to fill the carburetors once you get it started turn the valve back to the on position.
hope this helps.

I ran out of fuel recently, bike wont sta

You need to get basic checks.

Is there spark?
Is there petrol at plugs?
Is timing correct?
Compressions OK.?

Yamaha dt 2003 wont start was working fine then ran out ov petrol then put more petrol in and 2stroke now wont start it started then was smoking bad for like 10 seconds then died now wont start at all btw...

sounds like you may have a air pocket in your fuel system. try cracking the fuel check on the bottom of the carb and make sure you have fuel. the only other thing i can think of is fouled plugs. I know it sounds funny on a 2 stroke but i have seen it happen
