Question about 1985 Honda VT 1100 C
I want to install and wire a tachometer from a 1985 VT1100 on my 1997 VT1100 Shadow Ace
VT1100 has two spark plugs per cylinder, the sparkplug caps are snap-ons so they're fairly easy to remove. You need a spark plug socket wrench to remove and replace the spark plugs.

You can hot wire it, because you will not be able to steer it.
A Locksmith can fit keys for you.
If this was helpful, please post a nice review for City Lock in Boulder Colorado listings on Google Maps, Yahoo etc. This listing will link you to my website as well. On my website are resources for finding a legitimate locksmith near you. Be sure you are hiring a REAL locksmith!

If you push the button and the solenoid clicks , the button is good. If you short across the cable terminals on the starter solenoid and the starter works, the solenoid is bad. If you hold the starter button and tap on the starter with a plastic hammer and the starter works, you need starter brushes. If anything else is wrong with the starter (bad armature) , you need a new starter.
