Question about 1990 Suzuki VX 800

Howling Sound coming intermittently from Front Right Wheel Side

I have a 1990 Model Suzuki ALTO (800cc) right handed drive car having manual transmission. A few days back all of sudden I started noticing weird howling noise which seemed to be coming from front right wheel side. Sometimes it feels like it is coming from right from under the driver seat.
It occurs intermittently and it is only there during 1st or 2nd gear when I am slow and trying to turn slightly towards right side. Occasionally it can also occur while turning towards left in 1st and 2nd gear. I cant describe the exact sound but it sounds like (Waooon, Waooon). Never occured at high speeds.
Please help as I need to have an idea before I talk to the car mechanic

A low howling sound coming from right front tire on a four wheel drive?

It most definately could be, lift the vehicle to raise the wheel off the ground, firmly hd the tire at the 5 & 11 oclock position ( I say 5&11 to keep your hand from directly under the wheel in case it isn't support well and comes down, don't want your hand crushed) then try to move the tire back and forth, any mkvement indicates a bad bearing.

I am continuously getting tak tak noise while driving on 10-40kmh speed from front end left wheel. the mechanic said, its the problem of brake caliper. i have recently repaired the front axle and not done...

You don't state what vehicle it is. If it is a front wheel drive, check the CV joint, although this would be more prone to making a noise whilst in a turn.

The car makes a howling noise while driving it

well did the noise start after the tires were rotated?could be choppy tires,,,if not ,i strongly think it sounds like a bad wheel bearing,,,,if you drive and while its making the noise turn left and right quick and see if the noise gets louder and which way turning makes it louder,,if you turn leftand it gets louder its usually the right wheels bearing as you are putting load on it, if it makes the noise louder while turning right its the left wheel bearing,,,got it

Howling Sound coming from Front right wheel side

I think its a problem with your timing belt. It is too tight. Thats why it is making such a sound. Tell your mechanic to loosen it a bit.

2003 chevy blazer front end howling and also rear clunking.

the howling sound could be a window with a little opening, check if your window was totally closed. the clunkin? or clickin sound you hear could be the road salt or ice thats being thrown to your mud guard by the wheel. anyway an actual inspection is recomended, pep boys can do a courtesy check for free.

Did you check your Transmission fluid and your differential fluids make sure there up and I don't know if you checked your rear wheel bearings or not, You can usually tell a wheel bearing when you are driving the car at highway speeds and you go around a corner and it get quite a bit louder Depending on what way you are turning if your turning right and it gets louder it will usually be the right side front or rear. the left usually the left front or back. some cases I have even heard Axles making a Howling Noise. Please let me know what you come up with. And Thanks in advance If I helped you out any. Bear001
