When you hop into the car you may need to jump on the revs a bit more to be able to bound off the line smoothly.Was the car built in a leap year?.Nah.Seriously.If the motor is out of tune the engine will behave like you said.Get that checked and also ask the shop to check the clutch is operating smoothly and not shuddering.Take-off revs is around 1100-1200 revs min.
