1984 kawasaki gpz 1100.. would you be able to tell me what the air pressure for the rear uni track shock absorber should be?

Around 20psi with shock damping on position three gave a good ride in conjunction with 8psi in the linked front forks; for serious street racery another 10 psi in the shock and max damping helped stiffen things up.

Replace plug wires and Im not sure where #1 is on the cap it dosnt say. 71 chevey 350 with 3/4 cam. Wont start and has back fired once

To find the #1 position on the cap, turn the engine by hand 'till the timing mark on the crank balancer is aligned with "0" on the timing scale. The rotor in the distributor will now either be pointing 180 degrees away from #1, in which case it is pointing towards the firewall. Or, it is pointing at #1. (pretty much towards the front of the engine) If it points towards the firewall, turn the engine one more time again to "0". Order is 18436572 clockwise on cap. Engine cylinders are 1357 drivers side. 2468 passenger side . If the engine ran before you changed the wires it should run now. The cam has nothing to do with the firing order but if valves are improperly adjusted it may give you problems. In reality there is no such thing as a 3/4 cam. All cams have a set of specifications (called a cam card) In saying you have a 3/4 cam, that would be 3/4 of what???
Any further problems just ask!!

Bike takes 2 to3 minutes to warm up .hear a clicking noise and it sounds like a soppy tappet noise after it does warm up.Do 82 goldwings have ajustible tappets

Yes , the Goldwing valves are easily adjusted by taking off the valve covers. On the top left back of the motor is an engine cap that if removed will tell you the top dead center for the cylinders . T-1 position , loose valves on front right cylinder (number 1) TDC compression stroke.

cylinder number intake valve exhaust valve
1 A A
2 B B
3 B A
4 A B

A= Adjust with cylinder 1 at TDC at compression stroke.

B= Adjust with cylinder 1 at TDC at exhaust stroke

Valve tolerance for all valves is 0.004 in ( 0.1 mm) with a feeler gauge

82 1100 has a bad miss in the upper rpm about 4 to 5000. It even feels like it wants to stall out, someone said the coils.

Old coils have wires that arc and 5000 OHM caps with blown resisters that can cause your problem. You could try replacing the plug caps on the end of the wires (they unscrew) (NGK about $20) Accel makes some bolt in replacement coils for the gl 1000 and gl1100 ($150 to $200). The kit comes with yellow wires and spark plug caps. I substituted snap on Ford truck wires because they were black. With this kit you need screw on tops for spark plugs (Honda snaps there caps on to the threaded plug top with out the screw on aluminum dome). Start your bike when it is dark out side and spray water on the wires to look for shorting. Also, does it cut out in the rain? Your cheapest fix would be to try the new plug caps first, unless of course, the wires are shorting.

82 GPZ 750 R1 w/ mac 4/1 exhaust Will the lack of exhaust gaskets affect compression?

No

But it will affect how well it idles and reduce your torque due to a lack of back pressure.

Fuel pump

I think this is a simple gravity feed to the carbs. It's possible you require some vacuum from the intact manifold to open the flow. Some Honda Nighthawks are set up that way.
