My oil level has mysteriously risen and is now above the max level. I haven't added any oil and it was near the lower level a few months ago. Any ideas? Petrol or break fluid seeping into the oil?
Is it water cooled? Whats the colour of the oil? Black or more of a milky white colour?
If the colour of the oil is slightly creamish and it watercooled; it might be a top gasket thats blown

not sure about newer models but the old models take 280 ml in each fork

32 to 1 gas and oil > Two Stroke Engine Oil ( not Motor oil ). This equals 4ounces oil per gallon of gas.
Use premium unleaded gas. No Ethanol gas.
10w40 motor oil for the gearbox. Stick with the major brands; Pennzoil, Quaker State, Mobil or Shell.

There is a service manual available: http://www.carlsalter.com/motorcycle-manuals.asp .

The dip stick is on the same side as the fill cap but toward the rear just behind the round part of the clutch cover, and screwed in at a downward angle. If I remember it takes about 4 quarts to do an oil and filter change on it.
