Try starting the car with the accelarator pedal hard down. This tells the computer to not fire the injectors. If it is flooded the engine will clear itself and finally fire.

sounds like the float is stuck in the carb when trying to start a flooded engine keep the pedal to the floor and crank engine if it starts let up on the pedal. check to see that you have spark and the air cleaner filter is clean
Sounds like a faulty starter solenoid. Some of these solenoids supply ignition power during start up. If you're bypassing it, you wont be getting any spark and therefore flooding the engine. Replace the solenoid.

I believe that your fuel pump is dying. Sometimes they don't just dye immediately. Your problem sounds like your engine is starving for fuel. You can tell by doing a fuel preasure test. Good Luck Friend.
