spark, fuel and air is ok. But nothing.

Try pulling choke out &/or twisting the throttle 2 or 3 times before attempting to start. Also check valve clearances.

The mikuni carbs on these things are not good. The FCR41 is a much better carb but your bike should at least start with the mikuni. Try setting the accellerator pump to come in at 1/3-1/2 throttle too.

Yamaha Fino scooter won`t start when egine hot. WHY???

Could be a variety of things. Vapor lock from a leaky carb. Carb running too rich. Engine overheated. Heck, could even be some weird wiring gremlin. Hard to tell for sure, but a good solid carb clean and reset should help either way...

Yamaha Fino scooter won`t start after having been used and engine still hot. Have to wait min. 20 minutes restart is possibe. What`s wrong???

Hi, Anonymous you may have a faulty CDI box-pulse coil-exciter coil or ignition coil for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Yamaha, despair not, for a mere $0 you can download another one. Relaced coil, ignition module, starter relay bike shuts down when hot and won't start

Replace the cam pickup in the nose cone on the right side of the motor. Due to heat cycles over time the epoxy melts and the wires fall out of the pickup. Pretty easy job to do, but you will have to reset the timing on the bike when you are done.

When its cold it starts without problems. i cant start up warm engine on yamaha xs 400.?

Check the valve lash. Sometimes, if the clearances get too tight, when the valves are hot the get long enough that they won't seat properly. I don't have the manual, but I'll bet .003 on the exhaust and .002 on the intakes are close. Put the motor at TDC and check them with a feeler gauge.
If they're not within tolerance, find the factory specs and proceedure for adjustment. This is an often overlooked part of routine maintenance. Good luck!

My Yz 426F and it won`t start at all, changed the plug and it still won`t start

HELLO; Now, pull the plug out reinstall it on the ing. cable and short it out on the head while cranking the motor over ,look for a nice crisp spark. If you have one, check for fuel flow from your tank to the carb. Check that and if nothing, write back and we will go from there. GOOD LUCK.
