ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS??? my odometer starting blinking really fast. then my abs & brake light came on. then my radio was breaking up. whether it was the actual radio or cd. seemed like a wire was lose. then when i got home there was no power. it wouldn't start. the car wouldn't lock. nothing worked. oh yeah the heater seemed like it was also wanting to come on and off.

pulsating brake pedal indicates that the ABS is active under brakes whether it is required or not
from the rest I would first have a fault scan done to find any faulty sensors
Try replacing the ECM with a known good unit as the scan fault readings may reveal a problem ECM
If it is just your antilock break light that is on brakes will wor but without the convenience of ABS. The abs light may be on de to issues with wheel speed sensors/wheel bearings, problems with the ABS unit itself. You should have the system diagnose by a professional.
Hi, Autozone will scan your vehicle for free 1997 and newer vehicles. Your brake fluid being low will also make the brake light go on. Ihope this helped you out. Good luck, .....MIKE-
I believe that you have a bad module in your steering column if your lights and blinkers operate on a shifting lever. if they are in a dash the switch could be faulty or the main wire harness has a bad connector or loose/frayed wires. iw ould look under the dash. over time the connecters get loose or they get cracked from the heat they get from the fire wall or heater system and have a tendency to short . this would be a good start make sure all the connections are tight and there is no dicoloration or burn marks.....please rate this........thanks
