How to remove child locks

Hi there,

If you have lost or forgotten the code, the default factory password is 0000. This should still work even if you have set another password and forgotten. You should also deactivate the lock fully from the menu if you no longer wish to use it or activated it accidentally.

Disabling the child lock (and/or other locks):

(This can be done from the remote or the buttons on the front of the TV)

1. Press MENU to open the main menu.

2. Press CH+ or CH- to highlight PREFERENCES.

3. Press OK to enter the PREFERENCES menu.

4. Press CH+ or CH- to highlight FPA Lock (Front Panel lock) .

5. Press VOL+ or VOL- to switch the lock on or off

6. Press MENU repeatedly to exit the menu

The menu will disappear if no buttons are pressed on the remote for several seconds.

Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Regards,

BElectric.

Cant enter codes in Eurovox ex1000 sl

Hi,

if you need to manually enter the keys a different procedure is required to previous versions of the firmware.

To access the key entry screen try the following:

On the remote press "Menu".
Highlight "Language Settings" and press "OK".
Highlight "1st audio lang" or "2nd audio lang" or "Subtitle lang" NOT "Menu language", then press the buttons 1,9,6,8 in order.
The key entry screen should now be visible.
Use the left/right arrow keys or "FAV" button to find the "NagraVision" screen which contains the keys for UK service providers.

to reveal the "Emulation" and "EMM Capture" Highlight "Menu language"
, then press the buttons 1,9,6,8 in order.

I need 4 digit ''input''code a 1990 VS-4501R big screen mitsubishi.

If you have the original remote or at least one with a QV button on your remote it is easy.
When prompted for the code, Just hold down the "QV" and the number 9 together for a bit.
That will unlock the set.
I would then go the the main menu and unlock the set from the menu. Use the "QV" and 9 to get in and turn off the password.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.
