92 zzr 1100... replaced all bulbs in the dash but still no warning lights come on

Hi, Paul it is hard to imagine that all of the sensors or activating switches that make the bulbs illuminate have failed at the same time that being said it's probably a fuse or a wiring issue to the instrument panel either a faulty ground or power wire at the dash wiring harness connector you need to get out your test light and do a little integrity testing for this scenario you will need your service/owners manual if you can't find the first and best tool you ever bought for your Kawasaki, despair not, for a mere $0 you can download another one. I have a 2006 v star 1100 with aftermarket pipes and a jet kit installed. It sat for months and I rebuilt the carbs. Now the bike will only idle with the choke on, are my carbs out of sink?

Hi, Lancer and the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel cap or fuel tank is not venting properly.
2. Fuel filter clogged.
3. Fuel line pinched or kinked.
4. Float needle and seat sticking.
5. Float level too low.
6. Carburetor bowl vent line clogged/blocked/pinched.
7. Idle adjusting screw set too low.
8. Air/fuel mixture screw set too lean.
9. Idle port, transfer ports, slow air jet clogged.
10. Slow fuel jet clogged.
11. Faulty fuel pump.

How i can repair a fuel pump of a kawasaki zzr1100 it doesnt work even when connected directly straight from battery.

Check to see if your fuel pump relay is good first. Then if it is good you are going to have to buy and install a new fuel pump.

Zzr 1100 c model revs fine stationary and starts ok but when riding will not go faster than 50mph and stutters back and forth all the time

The spec sheet doesn't say if your model has fuel injection or carbs. Assuming carbs, disassemble and clean them. You will want the shop to balance and sync the carbs as well. This should get you back on the road in style.

Please rate this solution. Thanks!
