Back of the seat remove the fender bolt..on both sides of the seat where your *** sits are two large torque bolts...You dont have to remove the tank Heritadge has fatbob tanks..remove the 1/2 inch nut holding down your speedometer raise it up and your wire will run through their. you have two seperate tanks their is space between them on the frame.

The oil drain us usually a hose with a plug in it that is held by a clip on the frame. It us usually on the right hand side of the bike just behind and underneath the transmission side cover. Loosen the clamp and pull the plug out. The oil will run out of the tank. Replace plug and add new oil to the tank.

Unless they've changed this, the seat on all Softails are held on by two large bolts, one on each side of the bike. They're just beneath the edge of the seat near the rear. They take a large allen hex key. Take the two bolts out and lift up while pulling back on the seat. There is a tongue that slips into a slot in the frame at the front of the seat. When you put the seat back on, push down while sliding the seat to the front. Make sure the tongue is in the slot before you reinstall the bolts at the rear.

usually on the left side, right below the seat there should be a place to put the key when you turn the key it will pop the rear of the seat up, and just lift it off. there is the battery. you should take the battery out every winter season and also follow other winterizing steps with the fluids.

There is a large bolt on either side of the seat down on the side. It uses a large hex key to remove them. Take these two bolts out, lift the seat and pull to the rear. That should do it.
