What year is your bike? on my 2005 dyna fxd, there is a small bracket adjacent to the battery box on the right side of the bike. there are two bolts in it. one screws in vertically upward. completely loosen that bolt but do not remove it. there is another bolt that screws inward horizontally. you can remove that bolt. the battery box/ tray should then pull down and angle outward to allow access to the battery. the negative cable should be the first cable removed and the last one connected.

SOURCE: change a stator

First secure the bike on a lift. disconnect battery.remove standard footpeg.Remove standard shifter. Remove all allen head bolts from outer primary cover. Some bolts are longer so keep track of where they go.Two bolts on the primary inspection cover also hold the outer to the inner primary case, so remove the cover. Now remove the outer primary case. The clutch, primary chain, adjuster, and compensating sprocket must be reoved as a single unit.Once you have done this take a rag and grasp the rotor and slide it off of the main engine shaft.Unplug the stator and remove the set screws holding it in place.Reverse procedure to install new stator.

The baffles on stock pipes are welded in. For a louder sound, you take a long screw driver, or a drill bit and poke holes in the back of the muffler.

I believe they could. Possibly not the fenders, but the tank, that's a probability. Check the mounts, and take some measurements of tank length on the bottom.

remove the drain plug from the oil pan, you will need either a 3/4" box wrench or a 5/8" box wrench and the drain plug will be facing forward on the the oil pan. It is easiest to remove this drain plug from under the right side of the bike. put drain plug back in after about 10 m,inutes of drain time and tighten to 18 ft. lbs. Dont forget to change the oil filter as well.
