If your battery is fully recharged and you have it connected properly, you have a bad switch.

Odds are good the battery is not connected, or dead. Draining a battery completely often kills it for good.

How can I hot wire a suzuki 50cc Quad

Hi Kevin, if security (theft) is not an issue where you live, almost any two pole switch will work for turning the ignition on and off. Alternately, you may contact a local cycle shop where they may just have an old ignition switch with a key in it setting in a box or drawer someplace. New (generic) key switches are available from auto stores and golf cart repair centers. Herb

No power

If your battery become too dead the trickle charger wont recognize the battery so it wont charge it. However in that case you just need hook two batteries together to even the charge so it will recognize it. if your battery is truly charged then its a loose wire somewhere or bad switch.
