Tl1000r won't start. Chec fault showing

Replaced rear light with led intergrated, indicators not wired yet n bike won't start showing chec fault on temp display. Also had f1 code few weeks back after starting bike after winter

SOURCE: F1-6 Fault Code

This code is in responce to a fault/failure in the lower keypad assembly. It is possible the keypad was bumped.

Maytag Gemini fault codes.

SOURCE: bike cuts out after 15secs

Hi,
The F1 display is an indication that one or more of your sensors are indicating a fault. Your bike is equipped with an ECM module that records and stores all fault issues. Unfortunately, only dealers and bike repair shops have the special readers to diagnose your issue. If you take it to a bike repair shop, ask to make sure they have the reader. Otherwise, it could cost you more in the long run by them trying to track it down by trial and error.
I wish I had a quick fix for you, but it looks like a trip to the dealer is in order.

It may have a low oil sensor that is keeping the bike from being started. try getting the bike level and check the oil and top it off if low.

Remove the three screws in the back of the control panel and lift the control panel up. You should see a clear plastic tube to the far right going into a gray plastic box.
There is either a kink or break in this hose or the controller board (the grey box) is bad.
Try removing the hose and blowing in it to check for any resistance (clog).

I just bought a controller and they run about $200

could be a p.c.m. if you can't read codes.

Engine light if giving a cooling circuit problem, senses that the fan won't come on. Trac goes on when the abs wheel speed sensors don't sense right speed (open or closed circiuit). Could be a fusible link near starter.

a/c clicking on and off, could mean charge is insufficient or too much r134a in the system.

Those are my thoughts on it.

07 bandit 1250 shows chec on clocks turns over fine but will not start


When the display indicates 'CHEC', check following items:
* Make sure that the engine stop switch is in the (on) position.
* Make sure that the transmission is in neutral or the side stand is fully up.

If the display still indicates "CHEC" after checking the above items, inspect the ignition fuse and the connection of the lead wire couplers

think u blew a fuse-dont fool w electrical if no xperienc---bike is old and probly needs a new pump relay-battery cud be weak also or not being charged rite----buy a haynes or clymer manual and learn repair or bring it to a private bike mech instead

F1 is no fault. put into dealer mode the little white connector under the rear seat, a bit of wire bridge the terminals and a fault code will come up, if you put a retarder on the bike try putting back to std

After disconnect and reconnect the battery of my opel antara, the indication of odometer displays only 888... for all indications. How can i reset it?


This solution will be of great help to you,even in the case of future or other dashboard problems;
Instrument cluster consists of electronic analog gauges, various warning lights, and optional tachometer. Vehicles equipped with tachometer have an electronic vacuum fluorescent transmission range indicator (PRND3L),odometer and trip odometer display. Vehicles without tachometer are equipped with a cable-operated transmission range indicator.
Instrument cluster is equipped with the following warning lights:
Battery voltage.
Cruise (speed control).
Door ajar.
Fasten seat belt.
Lift gate ajar.
Low fuel level.
Low windshield and washer level.
Traction Control.
The Body Control Module (BCM), which receives input from various sensors, sends display information to instrument cluster and operates gauges. Instrument cluster incorporates a self-test diagnostic feature to identify electronic problems. BCM, Powertrain Control Module (PCM), and Transmission Control Module (TCM) are continuously monitored by the diagnostic system.

SELF-DIAGNOSTICS
With ignition off, press and hold TRIP and RESET buttons while turning ignition switch to ON position. Continue to hold TRIP and RESET buttons until odometer window displays CODE (approximately 5 seconds). If problem exists, system will display diagnostic trouble codes. My nissan Almera S reg has no side lights or dash lights.All fuses seem ok.
