My yamaha fz16 is about a year now. its great and all. but it only runs for about 70kph and cant go further than that. it tends to slow down when i add more gas. what do i do?

This could be as simple as a dirty fuel filter or a clogged vent line. When you open the gas cap do you hear a hissing sound? If so you are have a problem talked "a vacuum lock" after to so much gas is used from the tank there becomes a vaccum and if the vent can't allow ample air into the tank the gas will simply stop flowing. A clogged fuel filter will cause a lack in fuel supply. Both of the problems I have stated will "will starvea the bike of gas causing poor performance. Check into the easy and should you still be ha en problems please feel free to write me back

I wanna change my carburetor of my fz16 to pulsar220 is it suitable????

U may be able to fit. But it will miss up your air/fuel ratio. Which in turn will result in reduction in fuel efficiency and decreased power at lower rpm. Stick to the stock or you could re-jet your jet screw.

My bike hav low milage and black smoke coming out of silencer

Too much fuel and not enough air running through your carb. clean and set the carb, clean or change the air filter and change the spark plug, these should do the job well enough.

Grey smoke from fz16

Hi, Jam_swanky your instrument gauges and lights can alert you to most electrical and engine issues they can not warn you about failed engine gaskets or seals so your engine has to resort to the old fashion method of colored "SMOKE SIGNALS" here is a breakdown of their meaning:
1. WHITE SMOKE on start-up can is usually caused by a blown head gasket allowing coolant to enter the combustion chamber and may start dripping out of the exhaust pipes or mufflers.
2. BLUE SMOKE on start-up is usually caused by failed valve seals. Smoke that is constant while riding is usually caused by valve to guide and piston ring clearances that have exceeded service wear limits.
3. BLACK SMOKE on start-up is usually caused by too much fuel in the combustion chamber this can be due to air/fuel mixture adjustment too rich, accelerator pump improperly adjusted, faulty choke/enrichner or not in the off position, faulty carburetor float needle and seat, pilot jet too large, fuel injectors leaking, smoke while riding is usually caused by the main jet being too large.
It should be noted that aggressive or abnormal throttle operation will cause these conditions to manifest themselves exponentially.
