If your stock air cleaner has not been replaced you should be able to install the pipes with no adjustments. Run the bike a few miles and check your spark plugs. They should be a nice tan color. If they are too dark, your bike is running rich, too light means its running lean. Either way the ecm download from harley should fix you up. At that point you should get the screamin eagle ac kit and down load.

SOURCE: fuel pump?

the fuel pump for your 2000 fuel injected road king is located in the fuel tank. you will have to remove the speedometer housing, by first removing the seat, then remove the one small screw near the seat that holds the speedometer housing in place, also remove the small screw at the front of the speedometer housing and lift the housing off the tank and disconnect the wiring that goes to the back of the speedometer. there is a large oval shaped gold in appearance plate on top of the fuel tank. this plate is what the fuel pump is mounted to.

Sounds like the previous owner didn't get the cpu remapped, Take it to a Harley dealer and have him check the exhaust mapping on the cpu, Shouldn't cost much or if you want get them to fully service it so that way you will know were your at with it and will have a reference point to start with or service and maintenance reasons (and re-sale value) Hope this helps

It's easier then you think, yes, lose the fuel pump, and the FI, you'll also need ta new ingition system, I recommend the stand alone Dyna S, a carb, the S&S Super E will do nicely, a Pingle 62052 petcock adaptor kit & a petcock. There no O2 sensors on the Blockhead, you've can change over much more easily then Twin cams.

This could be a result from a couple of different things however if your vibration is at idol and has and keeps getting worse it is proably one of the motor mounts. These can very difficult to see so if you remove one there is a thin lip above the rubber and metal bracket and if that is not there then the mount is no good

Riding down the freeway 70 mph and the bike dies,waited a few minutes and rode home

Hi Scott, and the usual suspects are:
1. Severely discharged or damaged battery.
2. Loose, corroded or broken battery cable.
3. Alternator not charging or below normal rates.
4. Failed ignition coil, ignition/electronic module.
5. Failed CKP, CPS, CMP, MAP, TPS, or BAS sensor.
6. Faulty ignition switch.
7. Water or dirt in fuel system, carburetor or filter.
8. Fuel tank vent system plugged or gas cap not venting.
9. Fuel tank empty.
10. Fuel valve vacuum line broken or carburator vent line closed off.
11. Restricted, blocked or kinked fuel line.
12. Failed fuel pump, pressure regulator and or fuel injectors.

Wont start

There are three things to necessary for any engine to run, fuel, ignition, and compression. You say you have all three. Now, they've all got to be timed correctly. Since you can't time compression, you must make sure your fuel injection is timed correctly if it's fuel injected and your ignition timing is correct. If all this is correct, it should start.

As for the codes, I'm sorry I can't help much there as I know nothing about the computer controlled fuel systems.

check fuel level and petcock.getting fuel? next check for spark ground spark to cylinder fins and crank motor, no spark check cam postion sensor for voltage while cranking (if fuel injected check crank positoin sensor for voltage) if you get voltage replace coil
