You don't say what your working on, but, try holding the fuel rail up a little so you can see the injectors, then have someone tap the ignition. No fuel coming out means bad injectors.

What would cause no spark on2and4cyl of 84honda goldwing

sounds like an ignition coil is bad, trace the plug wires back to the coil, will be on top frame rail ,also check plug wires & caps, they often dry out &crack, causing misfire or no spark.

2000 mercury cougar will not start

If it is getting spark I will assume the timing belt is working.
You say the fuel pump is good, so what is the fuel pressure at the rail ?
Are the spark plugs wet or dry ? Can you get it to try to start by using starting fluid ?
You may have to get someone to check the computer for trouble codes which requires a scanner or code reader.

I have a 99 gmc seirra , we have replaced the starter, crank sensor, new battery, clean oil, and filter. The truck will turn over but will not fire. There seems to be no spark, there is gas at the fuel...

You need to hook a fuel pressure gauge to it. It has to have 55 psi or it won't run. Have you checked for spark at one of the plug wires. I'm guessing low fuel pressure, fuel pump.

My neibor has a 94 intrepid that the trans was said to have gone out in and has been sitting for about three years. I had to change the ignition lock cylinder because he lost the keys. Then I put a battery...

fuel at the rail dosnt exactly mean your getting fuel to your injectors, if you dont have a book to the car, call a dealer and ask what voltage you should get for injector plugs and check that. also dont assume its getting enough fuil to the rail, double chech fuel pressure, be sure it follows required specs. if none of this helps injectors are probly done, replace them.

1995escort no run has fuel and spark

Take the 2 bolts that hold down the injection rail out and pry the injectors out of their holes carefully, crank the engine over and see if fuel is coming out of them, on the right hand side of your fuel rail is a schrader valve (tire valve) push it in and turn the key on does fuel squirt out, if so and there is no fuel coming out of the injectors, the injectors are probably clogged, you will need to remove them from the rail and clean the tops and bottoms, if you cannot clean them, then you will have to replace them, you can get used ones from a wrecking yard fairly inexpensive. Hope this helps, let me know
