Question about kawasaki Z 750 Motorcycles
I have a 1978 kz 750 b.when I try to start it the starter only spins .can it be fix with out buying a new one,any advice would be app.
Youre sprauge clutch has most likely failed. I can include pics if you want. It is behind the alt rotor, actually bolted to it. You will need a puller to remove it(watch the direction of the fasteneres, if there is an "L" on the bolt it is reverse thread)
This assumes that the chain or gear is not stripped. There is also a gearbox in the starter, but I have never seen it fail.
If you want the pic let me know.
These clutches fail all the time.
