This is driving me crazy. In the middle of the night the horn on my car goes off. The only way to stop the horn from blowing is to run outside and lightly press the horn.
This seems to only happen in the middle of the night (1 AM - 5 AM).
Please help. This is driving myself and my neighbors crazy.
Sometimes horns go bad and sound incessantly just disconnect the horn from ucder the hood
This is probably a temp thing...night brings colder temps. The wiring may be failing or the steering wheel portion over the horn might harden and cause it to touch the center of the horn to make it go off.
Let me know if this helps.

I have same problem, twice when temperature decrease to 35 degrees F (late fall)., the horn went off! I had to pull the fuse out for the horn. Called the Saturn dealer about the problem and they said the horn switch is part of the air bag and would cost $1500 to repair!!?? I'll do without the horn until weather is warmer (above 35 degrees F.) then I'll replace the fuse.
Thanks for your help. The horn has not been going off until last night again. The temp was about 10 degrees. Does not seem to go off when the temp is in the 25 - 30 degree range.
