SOURCE: Clutch slave cylinder bleeder location- 1997 Yahama Royal Star To

It's located under the left rear cylinder side cover. Loosen the three bolts holding the side cover to the cylinder; you'll find a "trapdoor" into the crankcase. Open the "trapdoor:, and the cylinder bleeder will be immediately beneath it.

'08 Venture. Where is the clutch slave cylinder?

Sounds like you have a hydraulic clutch (they use brake fluid). If you do then look at the clutch lever, which is attached the clutch master cylinder. Follow the hose to the engine case. Where this hose enters the engine case will be where the slave cylinder is. This is at the clutch assembly. There could be a small bleeder screw there for the purpose of bleeding the clutch. Be careful when doing so as bleeding a clutch can be very tricky and requires some skill. I hope this helps, Rod

Bleeding the clutch hydraulics will not solve a slipping clutch. You probably need to change the fiber plates in the clutch.

My clutch reservoir is empty of fluid. I believe there is air in the lines, how do I bleed the line and where is the nipple to do the bleeding?

okay..I replied to your other post on the bleeder...but anyway...right behind the base of your left rear cylinder is a square rubber flap...lift the flap and the flap is teethered to the bleeder nipple.

Okay....add fluid to reservoir....be aware dripped brake fluid will destroy paint, fairing plastic etc...so have a pail of warm sudsy water to cleanoff any spilled fluid ASAP.

Replace lid ....attach a hose to bleeder nipple to a waste container. Pump the lever slowly a few times.....then pull lever partway in, and crack open the bleeder.....slowly pull lever in and hold...close bleeder. release lever. Pump lever ....hold partially in...crack bleeder....pull in , close bleeder, release bleeder.
Add fluid as needed to reservoir.
Never release lever with bleeder open or you will draw air back into bleeder from hose...always close bleeder first.
Continue this till clear new bubble free fluid exits the bleeder.
Refill reservoir leaving some room for expansion as the fluid heats up. Reinstall cap.

Aside from an obvious line leak....main cause of fluid loss from clutch reservoir is the slave cylinder seals are weeping....should consider rebuilding or replacing the slave...about $70 for a new slave.

When shifting from N to first gear and leting out the clutch lever and geting on the gas clutch seams to a slow slipping movement

Make sure you have free play in the clutch lever. On a hydraulic system, as the plates wear, you loose free play. Try putting a tube on the clutch slave cylinder bleeder valve and bleeding the line. If that does not change the symptoms, the clutch will need to be taken apart and inspected.
