I have an 08 RS125 I have had a few probs with it and am not sure what might be wrong it runs ok for a while then when you accelerate the power drops and you canot get more than 30MPH from it also the back brake is locking on for no apparent reason.

Is the bike's rear brake system hydraulic?
If yes thn it is jamming, check the flexible pipe for fatigue this could be obstracting the return flow of the fluid once the brakes are applied.If tht is ok thn you may need to overhaul the caliper!

This has to do with the electronic throttle control system . Position sensors in the gas pedal or the throttle body. Light lit , has code's set . Electronic Throttle Control (ETC), or Throttle Actuator Control (TAC), is replacing the throttle linkage on more and more late model vehicles. .dear first . you need to make sure ignition coil on spark plug are ok
second fuel pump . third you should keep engine runing without accelerator for a while then you can accelerated .
r u getting right fuel presure, mine used to keep cutting out after giving it a bit hard throttle ,like it was running on 3 and some times cut right out and the fuel pump when warm was loosing pressure
You are experiancing voltage issues, check the voltage at the battery with the bike running, you should be charging about 13 to 14 volts at a few 1000 rpms if not you have a issue with the chargeing system. could be the stator or regulater.
