Busted oil pan now can wont start tryed cranking to start

Did you replace the oil pan? many new cars have an oil level sensor and will not start if they read low oil so as to prevent the motor from seizing from too much heat and friction/wear.

2006 f150- temperature gauge stays cold but "check gauges" flashes in mini message center.

Since the temp gauge is not working correctly, you get the warning message.
Could be a faulty temp sensor or a problem in the wiring harness.

Took 2006 Matrix to local garage for oil change, two days ago, the car died, had it taken to the Toyota dealer, they said oil filter was not properly installed engine is deal replacement is 22K, they are...

it happens when you don't check out the garage you take it to. But it sounds like it is the shops responsibility. and the dealers. if your oil light never came on it could also mean a bad sensor.
