Heritage softail 88" EFI The roughness comes and goes once it starts. The changes were made to the bike but it sat for a few months. Thought it might be the gas but it runs fine ay start up.

Try cleaning the IAC. Look at the butterfly in the throttle body make sure you look to see if the shaft going through the butterfly plate isn't busted. I'm not up real big on FI my 2000 FLHTC is carbed. Why does my 2005 dyna super glide not idle

Running fuel/air too lean or maybe bad spark plug or wire. Just make sure wires are tight. Might be fouled.

2005 Harley Davidson 1200 Custom Sportster Stalls at Lights and Stop Signs

4700 not a lot of miles. This motorcycle needs to run. It will be rough until you can get the carb cleaned. I would keep doing what you have been doing for a while. After a couple hundred miles if it doesn't improve, you might want to consider having the Harley shop give it a good tune up. Check the plugs ...

What weight oil were you running?

I don't recommend synthetic oil in H-D because it is too slick for the type bearings Harley uses.

We like to run Castrol 4T in our Harleys.

Cant think of why it would boost your pressure after getting hot

2005 monte carlo seems to run rough / misfire when warm.

Remove your ignition module and take it to a parts house to be tested. This is common behavior for a failing module after it gets warm. Have them check it several times to insure it gets hot during testing.
