SOURCE: how to test honda XLR

Check your generator coils with a multimeter for continuity. Check primary and secondary ignition coils for proper resistance. If these are correct, and you have no spark, check ground leads and coil contact surface for rust. If all that is correct then you have a CDI issue. What exactly is the problem, and what have you tried so far?

Audio-Technica freeway 200 Series VHF Wireless System - I had problems connecting the wireless system with a quarter inch to a xlr. The sound system made a very loud disturbance sound. What cable do I use...

XLR connectors are a two-wire plus ground system. Using a 1/4 inch to XLR adapter may not connect the wires correctly to your sound system input.

The A-T Freeway 200 Series has a 1/4" output jack. This would indicate a line level. A cable to connect the tip of the 1/4" jack to pin 2 of the XLR and the sleeve of the 1/4" jack to pins 1 and 3 of the XLR should work. The XLR should be plugged into a device that accepts line level.

Ideally, you should plug the 1/4" into a 1/4" or RCA jack that is designed for line levels.

Led indicators honda xlr 125 "NOT FLASHIN AT RIGHT SPEED "

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

The reason that the flashing speed of LED indicators are faster/different from the standard bulbs is because the original flasher were designed for the current flow of bulb types. A LED type indicator offers very low resistance and consumer very little current hence the original flasher fails to operated correctly.

Your idea of changing the flasher relay is correct. Electronic/LED flashers are available here, here and/or here.

Good luck and thank you for using FixYa.
