First, you have to take the back seat off, then the strap that the back seat hooks into, when you do all that then the front seat can be removed and the battery is under there. hope this helps

2002 volusia 800 i got it with probelms he sead he layed it down on the left side of the bike lose some oil . and with it in gear 1st234or5 the transmission will not engaging it like it in [ N ] b


did he break the shift fork in it when dropped , or cable inside the clutch cover it is one or the other take the cover off and ck easy to do

Where is the oil filter located on a 2002 susuki volusia


The oil filter is on the front of the engine, behind the radiator and just above the forwardmost frame crossbar.

My 02 Volusia rides too high. Is there any way to lower the rear end to sit lower?


under seat in front of battery box is your adjustable shock. You can adjust height a lil from there. If your looking for more of a adjustment you can get lowering kit which is pritty much different wishbone on the shock

What fluids do i need to check on my 2002 volusia?


You should check:

The oil level and change at the appropriate interval
The coolant and change at the appropriate interval
The final drive fluid and change at the appropriate interval
The front brake fluid and change at the appropriate interval

Wanting to drain my gas tank on my (2002 Suzuki VL 800 Intruder Volusia). Trying to find out which line to unplug to drain the tank...


You would need to unplug both lines..
One line is for "gas" the other is "reserve"..

The tank has two wells onside..
