Mossberg model 88 manual

Yep. The back end of a Mav 88 is identical to the Mossy 500. Same gun, after all. The front end, forearm is the only real diff accessory-wise. You'd need to buy a Mossy action tube (the forearm steel) to put a forearm on your Mav. Stock, yes....forearm, no.

Cannot get throttle cable to have enough slap to replace grips

Remove the handlebar clamp so the bars are loose, you should be able to fit the throttle.

Can i change the tire of my 1990 model to 245x70x16?if not what is the biggest tire size that i can use?tnx

That is quite a large change from stock. It will offset you speedometer, cause breaking issues, and could cause the vehicle to be unstable in handling and cornering. The largest it is recomending is 225/70/15. I could see going 235/70/15 with a very mild offset to the speedometer(not enough to worry about). They do make a 215/70/16 but you loose your width and grip and the price is more substancial. The ones listed above are better for longevity and price overall.
