SOURCE: bike wont turn over

Use the voltmeter to check the battery while you are trying to start the bike. If it drops below 10v the battery is bad. If it stays at 12v or more look for a loose cable or poor ground.

SOURCE: 05 suzuki katana 750 idle issues

Idle issues can be fuel/air (mixture ratio) or igition (spark strength). It sounds like an air restriction issue. If there is no blockage throught the air inake/filter, make sure you adjust the jets to specifications and make sure there are no float issues with the carbs.

Suzuki GSX-R 750 cuts out while riding

Hi, Robert and the usual suspects are:
1. Severely discharged or a damaged battery must have 12.5 volts or more and be able to pass a proper "LOAD" test if necessary, you may have a preliminary reading of 12.5 volts or more but little or zero amperage the battery is faulty and must be replaced, AGM batteries fail in this scenario more so than lead acid batteries.
2. Faulty alternator/generator and or voltage regulator.
3. Loose or corroded battery terminals and or cables especially the "NEGATIVE" cable, look for loose, corroded, or broken connectors inside the cable harness at "BOTH" ends.
4. Faulty main circuit breaker or ignition switch, check for loose connections and continuity.
5. Faulty system and or ignition relay, check for continuity.
6. Faulty ignition coil, ignition/electronic module.
7. Faulty CKP, CPS, CMP, MAP, TPS, or BAS sensor, corroded, loose or broken wire connector pins/sockets.
8. Throttle cables and or idle speed improperly adjusted hot idle speed should be 950 RPM to 1000 RPM.
9. Faulty neutral, side stand or clutch lever safety switch.
10. Fuel tank empty
11. Fuel tank contaminated with ethanol sludge.
12. Water or dirt in the fuel system, or clogged filter.
13. Restricted, blocked or kinked fuel line.
14. Faulty fuel pump.
15. Faulty pressure regulator.
16. Faulty or clogged fuel injectors.
17. Lean angle switch is faulty or needs adjustment.

2001 Suzuki GSX 750 F (Katana) carburetors not getting fuel

Hi, Larae always check the fuel flow origin first to isolate the problem area otherwise the usual suspects are:
1. Fuel tank empty.
2. Fuel cap or fuel tank not venting properly.
3. Fuel filter clogged with rust or dirt.
4. Fuel valve not in the on or reserve position.
5. Vacuum line to fuel valve cracked, broken, pinched, or missing.
6. Fuel valve/petcock clogged or diaphragm cracked, cut or torn.
7. Fuel line from the fuel valve to the carburetor or fuel pump clogged, cracked, pinched, bent, broken, or missing.
8. Fuel pump not working.
9. Fuel line touching cylinder or head causing fuel to boil and vapor lock, repair by rerouting and wrapping line with convoluted tubing.
10. Carburetor inlet clogged.
11. Carburetor float or needle and seat stuck.
12. Carburetor not venting properly overflow line or bowl fitting clogged, pinched, or bent.

Overheating coolant boiling out into reserve tank

you have a blown head gasket.. doesn't have to have coolant in the oil for a blown head gasket... if hoses are rock hard when running then you have exhaust leaking into the coolant via a blown head gasket...

Rideing hot.. i was rideing and i felt it getting hot then it idled high and also cut off i did not know were u put radiator fluid at so it would not ride hot

its either under your gas tank, or on the right side of the front fairing usually with most bikes! check your fan when it overheats, do you hear it come on? if you don't then this allows the coolant to boil away due to overheating and can damage the engine.

run a can of Seaforam in the tank..purchase from Autozone put in 1/3 to two gallons gas drive it around for at least 10 miles to insure it cleans out the whole carb system.if that doesnt work, check all carb hose fittings when bike is at idle spray some Chemtool B-12 ( also at Autozone) around the carb hoses and manifolds..if idle increses thats your problem. Caution: chemtool is very toxic wear gloves and a mask.

I have a gsxr 750 wr fuel tank mod?

I have been fixing bikes and I never came accross such an equipment but instead I would suggest you look on ebay as there are things that never existed that you can get there and very cheap too.But to my knowledge I have not seen one and it will be quite awkward to fit as you will need a wired connection to the sensor or float...

I have a 1996 GSXR 750 and i flushed my radiator and put in new fluid all the way to the top. But know when it starts to get to 200 Deg. it boils out from the top. ?

check to make sure your sending unit and cooling fan work first, than make sure the water pump is circulating, open the radiator cap with the bike running and you will see the fluid moving if it is working.
