First check the engine compression with a gauge. It should be over 100psi.If not either the bore job was off or the rings either broke, stuck or were not installed correctly.Either way I would let who ever done the work know. The oil ring could be on wrong and still have compression too.

Pulsar 220 Bike emits little smoke even after Rebuild, how do I fix?

Did you clean the bore REALLY REALLY good with hot soapy water and a brush before assembly? Need to remove all the grit from the honing process. Test by rubbing hard with a white cloth. It MUST still be white after rubbing. If not then clean it again. It will wear out the rings quickly if it's not right. Solvent will not clean it properly.

Oil leak in silencer

The Bajaj is a four stroke. If oil is leaking out of silencer you have a problem. Engine needs new rings, or oversize piston kit and rebore. Also fit new valve stem seals.

Engine race and new spark plug is rust carbon every 5-10km

1.check your engine oil level. 2.check the silencer whether black smoke or blue smoke? in case black smoke, airfilter is blocked and improper air/fuel screw adjustment in carburetor. in case blue smoke, the oil burns inside the cylinder, check the valve clearance or the cylinder need to reboring or replacement along with piston....

Plugs fouled

there are two ways plugs foul up is too much fuel or oil is getting in to the cylinders, does the bike blow excesive amont of smoke on start up and when you are riding, and is it one spark plug or all if it is a single plug and comes out black with oil then it could be a vave seal or it could be a damaged oil ring on your piston ,if it is doing it on all cylinders then more than likely the piston and rings need replacing and the bores to be honed or rebored to the next size piston and rings, hope tis helps cheers pete

Hi,
That looks like a REED VALVE leak.
If your 2 stroke kept coming out from the carb air intake and as you say that sometimes a back fire in the exhaust.

Check these....
  • Reed valve
  • Crank oil seal ( there might be air leak in the block )
  • Exhaust pipe ( might be already blocked )

Hope that helps you out!

well your magneto is fine(because your headlight works when you kick it over) I bet it is something as simple as you forgot to hook up a wire since you had it all taken apart. since your magneto is fine that just leaves #1 coil....or....#2 cdi box.....to find the coil just follow the wire from your spark plug to it....your CDI box should be mounted under the seat( make sure all the wires are hooked up ) and check again.....

Honda cb100 motor sezied can i rebore and fit larger piston and ifso what. Thanks

in adition to the above coment, which i must say is spot on, the posability of a used barel and piston if a new piston is not available could be worth considering, other things you may wish to check on that particular engine is camshaft seizure, in a uk bike it runs directly in the machined surface of the cylinder head, oil failure due to blocked oil filter has severe consequenses, located on the l/h side of the engine under a 22 or 24mm spaner head cap just below the gear change lever, this is a washable filter retained by a cap and spring, correct replacment is inperitive. are you located in UK? HOPE THIS HELPS YOU

03 CRF450 R push starts and runs, will not kick start.

the bike might have to much oil in the bike so when you try to kickstart it, it sends oil to the piston and soaks the spark plug in oil. But when you push start it the spark plug is going alot so it catches, just kicking it doesnt give enough spark tho. my bike doesnt the same and then somtimes i have to take the spark plug out and clean it with a wire brush then usually its fine. Or you could have the wrong oil in the bike, i would read the maunal to find the perfered oil. hope this helps
