I would try contact adhesive and some cotton sheet. Let the contact adhesive almost dry to tacky before bonding. It is not likely it will come off but in case is this pre filter?

I can't remove a rubber fuel line with a strange metal fitting on it connecting it to one of the metal fuel lines.

As far as I can tell you are describing a pressed on clip. The only way off is to cut using a cutting pliers. I BELIEVE YOU ARE DESCIBING A LOW PRESSURE LINE. Just verify it first by calling the parts store or dealer. If so clip it off R/R the hose & install a new gas line w/ a clamp. Good Luck, Frank M

Rough engine idle and Lean DTC codes caused by split air intake

Check the 5" wide rubber air intake hose at the convolutes for splits that allow unmetered air into the engine. When this happens, the MAF sensor does not know this air is flowing into the engine, so it leans out the mixture generating DTC codes for Lean, Bank 1 & Bank 2.

Use duct tape for a temporary fix and buy a new air intak hose. This hose runs from air cleaner box to engine throttle body.

I would let someone duct tape it to the car temporarily. Tape & glue can be removed with cleaner later on and you need to operate the vehicle. That will give you time to get information from all sources and make the correct decision.

How do i replace the intake air temperature sensor on a 2005 chevy trailblazer

The Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IAT) is located in the intake duct near the air cleaner assembly on the right side of the engine compartment. To replace it, you would simply disconnect the electrical connector and pull the sensor out of the rubber duct. The new one simply pushes in. Before going out and buying a new one, make sure that the sensor is plugged in if you are getting a code for it. These get accidentally left unplugged all the time when people remove the duct to perform air cleaner service. Also make sure the wires are not damaged. IAT Sensor failures are rare.

Car stalls whilst driving along or in idle. It will restart then stall again after a short while

The symptoms all indicate a dirty (oily grime) build up in the throttle body interior. You will be pleased to learn the 'fix' should be quick and low cost.
Disconnect the air ducting between the air cleaner/filter housing and the throttle body. Spray WD40 or Carb choke cleaner into the throttle body interior and the throttle plate. Rub and wipe away the grime. Keep doing this until the interior looks like new. Turn the throttle Plate by applying pressure the the top half with your fingers. Clean as much as you can beyond it. Locate your idle air control (IAC) valve ( on or near the throttle body) and associated air passages to and from it. Clean these, if necessary dismount the IAC valve and soak the valve until free of all dirt. Reassemble everything and reinstate the ducting and you are done!

there is a vinyl glue on the market for fixing this kind of plastic you may find it in a swiming/camping shop,,,yes thats right,,, they use it to fix things like punchers in beach balls and swim rings, air beds all sorts of things like that,, it will glue this tear up tape the tear together and apply the glue in spots till you stich up the tear then when dry and set rub it down lightly with steel wool till the gloss has gone from the glue,,,cheap fix realy,,,

When you run a wash there is some water on the tile floor. I found the rubber gasket inside the door is torn.

If the tear is small, try using silicon glue to repair it--clean the surface of the boot and apply the glue. Let dry for 24 hours before using the machine. If the tear is large, the boot must be replaced. It can be done from the front without removing the cabinet, but it's tricky. These tears usually occur when trying to remove jeans and a metal button catches the rubber.

How to change door rubber on miele premier 300, can the front of machine be opened allowing to change the door rubber

I'm assuming you mean the flexible rubber between the door and the drum. Can it be replaced? The short answer is no! However...
I recently repaired a door rubber with a tear that caused the water to flood onto the floor. Here's how:
Yes, you can open the front to get to the door rubber however the rubber seal is glued to both the door and the inner drum lip.
You may have to tilt the machine on it's back to remove three screws from the underside of the front lip. (I forget if you need to take the water pump cover out as well but it wouldn't hurt to do so.) This allows the front panel (including door) to drop down a quarter inch or so and be eased out a little.
This allows *better* access to the drum rubber. To repair a tear - really the only reason you would want to do this - you need glue and some tape.
The door rubber is silicone and will stick with normal 'super glue'. However, bear in mind that these machines can do a wash up to 95C, which is hot enough to soften superglue.
I found a new version of superglue called Repair Extreme by Pattex that copes with temperatures up to 120C. It sets in about 5 minutes.
The glue needs to be flexible. Do not use epoxy resin.
I gave the glue some form by sticking a 10-15cm piece of duct tape - the silver shiny plastic tape plumbers use, readily available from any hardware and most supermarkets - to the *back* of the drum rubber. It's a tight squeeze to get your hands in there but it can be done.
Take the tension off the drum rubber by moving the front panel roughly back in place.
Then squeeze a generous amount of glue along the tear (about 3cm long on the bottom edge; a typical problem) to completely whet the edges to be joined.
Apply a little pressure to the location of the tear for a few minutes to help the glue hold fast. Leave the glue to set for at least half an hour before reassembly.
If you can source a replacement drum rubber the old one can basically be removed by force. A good cleaning and then a suitable glue could stick a new unit in place. However, if this is required, seriously consider buying a new unit. It is difficult to make a good seal that will not leak and may not be worth the effort in the first place.

02 330i drivers door airbag deployed, dealer saying it needs a new door panel,I disagree, looks like the panel is fine & can be used after a new air bag is set in. Any advice here?

the door panel needs to be replaced to correctly fix it. I guess you could go and glue the door panel back together. The dealership is going to put the vehicle back into factory condition. Usually when side air bags blow, the way the door panel is meant to tear it would make sense just to glue it back together as long as the leather doesn't tear
