Question about 2008 Yamaha YZF-R1
I regularly service the bike but cannot work out an easy way of changing spark plugs, I have the service manual but doesn't actually give a description or diagram only checking the plugs, I supposed its designed for mechanics. Any ideas..!
I use an extra deep spark plug socket available from motion pro,(thin-wall), also use wobbly 15 degree socket extensions(snap-on, mac),also shorty ratchet helps. extended magnets help pull the plugout of the bore after loosening.
