Your TE610 oil light wont go out.
Make sure you have the proper oil level.
Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes.

How often do I change oil and plugs

if it is an EFI controlled engine then change the plug/s to platinum plugs and forget changing again
if a normal ignition system then around 50.000 miles or when there is indication of misfires
the oil should be the correct type for the engine ( some vehicle engine oils are not suitable for the bike engine )and then as per the service schedule or every 5000 miles

Again on 175 cc yamaha yah its 2-stroke and the motor cycle is new its only 2 months old and 1 month in use,i changed the gear oil after 615 miles but the warning light is still on,more answers please as i...

Two months old, 600 plus miles ... I dont know the answer to resetting this light but I believe I would put in a quick call to the fellow who sold me the motorcycle. When you see him or her, ask them to show you all the things you need to know about your motorcycle like where are the tools and the owners manual. The fuses, any special tools the casual rider needs, maintenance schedule etc. It will be time well spent.

Hi there 1. looking for service and repair manual please. 2. I understand that oil change is every 2500 miles =4020 kilometres is that correct? Thanks and awaiting your reply Alan

If you have a new Fiddle II 125 and you still haven't changed out the factory lubricants, you need to change them out a.s.a.p. They should have been drained-out and replaced somewhere pretty close to 300 kilometers (around 186 miles), which is according to the Fiddle's owner's manual (see periodical maintenance schedule, pg. 23).

For first time engine oil replacement, use a good brand of 10W-30 conventional motor oil. For the first time transmission oil replacement, maybe use a conventional or semi-synthetic SAE 85W-140 gear lube.

Once you reach around a 1000 miles, I would suggest the switch-over to synthetics in both applications. Amsoil 4-stroke Synthetic Scooter Oil is touted as the best engine oil for your machine.

What are the service schedules for a 2007 ZX6R? The bike currently has 6018 K's and the oil service light has come on??

You can download complete service manual with all the schedule.
But if your oil service light has come on, you need to check the oil level and pour in some oil if necessary.

Where is the oil plug to my honda 600 1993 shadow i want to change the oil. shoul i change the oil after riding 500 miles @ 75 miles per hour it was changed before i took te trip?

the drain plug is under the motor in left front of the crankcase it faces the out side not straight down, and it is behind the radiator hose. riding the bike at 500 miles at 70 mph will not hurt the oil you only need to change the oil every 3000 miles.

Just got a SMR 510, 2010 model year, first dirt bike I've owned, all previous bikes have been sport bikes...I'm looking for something that looks like a maintenance schedule in the owners manual but I don't...

I had an 07 SMR 510. Loved that bike and I miss it all the time. I now own a Ducati 848 SF and still miss mah husky.
- I would change my oil and filter every 600-700 miles. It only holds a liter so it's gonna go dark faster.
- The air filter should be removed periodically (400miles or less) and cleaned in gasoline. It's a good idea to use filter oil on it (K&N filter oil works best)
-You'll want to call on these guys to order a valve shim kit They're husky experts and can answer a myriad of maintenance questions.
- The valves probably need to be checked every 2000 miles or so to keep it running at peak. Single cylinder thumpers are valve maintenance intensive but checking and setting is pretty simple once you are used to doing it.
- Youtube is a good source for that stuff.
- Use chain lube after every 300 miles.
- Beyond that just keep it clean.
- Pop wheelies and live like a hooligan!!!

Bike will not stay running with choke off.only has 600 miles on it.

It is likely that the dealer set the idle properly but as the bike is new it may need to be reset, most first services are scheduled for 600 miles or 1000km so that the dealer can make necessary adjustments.
You can check the location of the idle screw in your owners manual. Once the bike is nice and warm, try screwing the idle adjuster screw in 1/8th of a turn at a time until a steady idle is acheived. Otherwise take it back to the dealer, thats why you have a warranty.
