There could be many issues causing no spark on a 04 GSXR750. Check for battery voltage on the orange/ white wire at each coil. If none this model has a history of a failed right hand handlebar switch and or connector. Ignition voltage passes through this switch. Also check the main harness connector under the left side fairing panel near the area of the turnsignal for internally broken or corroded wires. If all this is good check the signal generator(crank position sensor) output voltage with a "peak reading " voltmeter. This is a special type of meter or attachment that must be used. The voltage should be 3-7 volts DC at cranking speed. Good luck.

Not starting

Look under the gas tank near the top of engine - find a large black wire (about size of a pencil in thickness) it will end at the top of your spark plug, 1 on each side of the engine on my 650, first remove rubber boot, second apply plug socket (should be one in your tool kit) if not buy one to fit. A spark plug socket has rubber inside it prevents damage to the plug, remove spark plug, remember righty tighty and lefty loosey, check the gap set on the plugs, just ask the guy at the store to check it when you buy them, you will learn how to do it if you just watch, insert new plug using your fingers only, dont force it! you want to start the threads correctly and not cross thread the spark plugs, you should be able to get several turns by hand/fingers alone - tighten - but dont over tighten the spark plug, it not good. Then pop the boot back on the new plug and repeat on the other side of the bike. NOTE: I have to remove the aluminum insulator on top of the new spark plugs to put the spark plug boots back on, its threaded also so lefty loosey etc, you may need to also. Charge the battery while you are doing this and have some starting fluid/ether nearby. if the bike is cranking but wont fire you have other issues.

My bike is not starting, I've already changed both spark plug there were no problems on the carburetor also my batteries were fully charge yet my bike does not start... can you help me Identify the...

There are 3 components necessary for any motor to run-fuel, air(compression) and spark. Just because you have new plugs doesn't mean you have spark. Put them in the caps and ground them to the cylinder head and turn the motor over and look for the spark. If you have spark, install the plugs and plug wires, and turn it over several times. Pull the plugs and check to see if they have fuel on them. Run these 2 simple tests and get back to me with the results and I'll help you further. Good luck!

My 2007 gsxr 750 f1 light came on and now the bike will not start has low injector pulse but good spark

The F1 light is really Fi, Fuel Injection. The fuel injection sensors have detected a problem in the system. Major problems will not let the bike start. You will need to get the bike to a dealer so they can hook up a code reader. The reader will pin point what the problem is. Once you know the source of the problem you can then decide if you can fix it or if it is time for the dealer to service the bike. Please rate my answer. Thanks!

Hello Maria to remove the spark plugs you will need a 3/8th drive13/16th spark plug socket with universal and a extension.removing the spark plug, first pull the plug caps off then use the socket wrench turn the spark plugs counter clockwise to remove and install the new plugs.turn the plugs until they are seated and tighten them 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
also depending on the age of the plug wires and caps the caps you can replace yourself the wires you may want to find some one to do that for you. with age they will start to leak and loose voltage to your plugs

You may have disconnected a wire somewhere or damaged a wire, check all wire connections if all are good pull a spark plug out connect it to the plug wire turn bike over to check for the presence of spark if spark is present reinstall plug. The bike may be flooded if so give the bike full throttle while turning over and as it starts don't let up on the throttle until the rpm climbs up to approx. 5,000 rpm.

Bike wont start bought new battery charged it and still wont start i havent changed spark plugs

It won't start? or it won't turn over? If it won't turn over have your starter checked out and proceed from there. If it tries to turn over but won't start, change the sparkplugs and see if you get a spark. If you do not get a spark you should take it to a repair center. If you do get a spark with the new spark plugs, install them and see if it runs. If not see if it's getting fuel, If it still wont run whether it is getting fuel or not I reccomend taking it to a bike mechanic.

Yamaha dt 175, voltage question. When idling, my DT measures 7 volts across the battery terminals. When revved it jumps up to over 13 volts. This is a six volt bike. I know the battery is completely shot....

You need new regulator and new battery. The battery works as a filter as well.If it is in bad condition it does not filter anything and in high rpm the current is very high.

Suzuki TC 100 won't start but park for 10 years bought new spark

Go to the dealer and ask for the stock plugs for your bike. Check for spark on each of the new plugs then install the plugs.

Remove the carbs , dissemble it and clean the varnish out. Remove the petcock, ( gas valve ),water trap and clean it out. Next let one cup of gas flow into a container. Any water or rust in the bottom of the container? If any rust was in the water trap or the container then purchase an inline fuel filter to eliminate the rust getting into the carb.

If cleaning the carbs yourself does not do the trick then take it to the dealer and have them clean it and install carb kits. This should eliminate the carbs as a problem. Get a new air filter and install it.

Now you have spark, gas and air. If it still will not start it is likely that you need new crank seals. On a bike that old you may well need new crank bearings as well.

Please rate this solution. Thanks!

Sounds like a bad battery. Try charging overnight with a 1 or 2 amp charger.
If this doesn't help then go to the dealer and ask for the stock plugs for your bike. Check for spark on each of the new plugs then install the plugs.
