Question about Motorcycles
You must be more specific about exactly what model 250 you have. ie; KX, Ninja, KLR???? Also in which area does this oil go as in the KX, it would use a 2cycle oil in the gasoline premix and a transmission oil in the gearbox.

if your talking about fuel mix oil the best is either amsoil or red line fully synthetic oil is the best out there(not cheep though)...if your talking about engine oil (wet clutch)i think bel-ray is the best..(thats what i have had best luck and less breakdowns with)

Not uncommon for 2 stroke mx bikes to blow black spooge out of exhuast. I suspect that your sparkplug electrode is black or dark color also and it may even be fouling plugs occasionally. This is cause by a worn or improperly adjusted float valve in the carb and or a worn needle and needle jet. The overall jetting of the bike could be too rich but you should replace any worn parts first before attempting to rejet. Also repack the muffler after repair as the packing is oilsoaked and will continue to drip .
